THE NGARLUMA ART GROUP
NO ONE LEFT BEHIND
Wangaba Roebourne Art Group Acknowledges the Traditional Owners -- The Ngarluma People of the Country on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the Elders, Past, Present, and Emerging.
Linda Daniel Rowlands
Linda is a Stolen Generation Ngarluma woman and Maternal Niece of David Daniel who originally won Native Title recognition for the Ngarluma People, and just like her Uncle, Linda fights every day for more recognition for the Ngarluma People, and this shows up in her art.
Linda will paint about her journey in life being a Stolen Generation person and paints in the traditional Ngarluma style with no or very little dot work. She is an Artist to keep an eye on as she has only been painting since making her return to live on country in 2019 and has accumulated a large fan base. The piece to the left is titled Retrurn to Country -- The Journey: Melding of two Worlds and depicts Linda's journey from East Coast Australia to her home on the North West Coast of Australia and is available to purchase in the online store and gallery at Roebourne.

All artwork sold is a unique piece unless the Artist has decided to recreate a particular piece. If that happens more often than not the colours will vary. Each piece sold comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
